Arturo "LZ" Lozano
58, Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 30, 2013. He was born on February 18, 1954, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of the late Francisco Lozano and Ana Perez Lozano.
Arturo retired from the United States Army in 1992, after 20 years of service. In his years after retirement from the Army, he was a volunteer Indianapolis Police Officer and Reserve Deputy for the Marion County Sheriff's Department. He also worked for Community Hospitals for 15 years. He was a member of the American Legion and would want everyone to know a Dallas Cowboys fan.
He was preceded in passing by his father, Francisco Lozano, who he admired most. He is survived by his mother, Ana Perez Lozano of Corpus Christi, Texas; his two sons: Joseph T. (Lindsey) Lozano of Bloomington, Indiana, and Leonardo (Melanie) Lozano of Salt Lake City, Utah; his grandsons, Isaac Reece Lozano of Bloomington, Indiana, Adrian Rivera Lozano and Liam Joseph Lozano of Salt Lake City, Utah; his goddaughter, Halee Harris of Mooresvile, Indiana; his best friend Walter Turner of Florence, South Carolina; his four brothers: Francisco J. (Ninfa) Lozano of Portland, Texas, Salvador P. Lozano of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jose E. (Janie) Lozano of Houston, Texas, and Raul P. Lozano of Corpus Christi, Texas; his two sisters, Ernestina L. Alvarez of Houston, Texas, and Juanita L. Singh of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his 16 nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be private per his request.
