Benjamin Stanley Domogalik
Bonaswave Stanasloff Domogalik, 95, of Indianapolis passed away February 4, 2014. He was born April 5, 1918 in Indianapolis, IN to Joseph and Helen Domogalik by midwife at their residence on Ketcham Street.
Benny resided in Haughville from 1920 - 2012 at 751 Concord St. Indianapolis. Benny attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church with his beloved late wife Joan. He graduated from George Washington High School in 1936. He worked for Link Belt for 17 years and the main post office in downtown Indianapolis for 16 years. Benny served in the Army Air Corp for 4 years as a Staff Sergeant and was the recipient of the Bronze Star, Philippine Liberation and Victory medal. He retired in 1983 from the Federal Government Pension and Social Security department.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joan Owens Domogalik, who passed away in May 2010. They were married on July 3, 1948 and were married for 62 years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary , 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 10 at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 901 N. Holmes Ave., Indpls. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

What a nice guy Benny was and I enjoyed talking to him many times as I have known him all my sixty years of life, Concord St. will never be the same as I used to look out my door and see him in front of his house working.
