Carman Lee

58, departed this life on Saturday, July 19, 2014.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Morehead State University and Master of Education degree from Indiana University and Administrative License & Certificate at Butler University.

Carman was an Educator in the Indianapolis, Marion County Public School Systems from 1978-2003, where she educated students at Indianapolis Public School 100, Wayne Township, Stout Field Elementary, and School 110, Indianapolis Public Schools. She was a member of Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. She was a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated; Life member of the NAACP; Former President of Marion County Bench & Barrister Spouses.

On Friday, July 25, there will be a Celebration of Life Service at 12pm with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church 4141 N. High School Road Interment will be at Washington Park North Cemetery.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Attorney Nathaniel Lee; daughter, Jennifer Nicole and son, Joshua Nathaniel. In addition, 3 brothers, Albert (Sharon) Jordan, Ray (Millie) Jordan, and Gary Keel (April, daughter); devoted sister-in-laws, Dr. Gloria Lee (Larry) Denard, Dr. Helen Lee (James) Byrd, Mrs. Ophelia Lee (Andre) Sheppard, MBA, Mrs. Marian (Robert) Parker, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends in Louisville, Kentucky and Indianapolis, Indiana, who will cherish her memory.
