Cerelle Kindler Van Buskirk

Passed away on May 18, 2013 after a spirited battle with breast cancer. Cerelle was born in 1954 to George and Sally Kindler. She is survived by her husband, John Van Buskirk; father, George Kindler; brother, Ken Kindler (Denise); sisters, Linda Sanders (Tom Schneider) and Janet Yeager (Bob). She is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews that she loved dearly-Janelle Drisko (Sam), Krista Kindler (Don Baber), Nicole Sanders (Josh Krauss), Austin Sanders, Bailey Yeager (Houston Walker) and Kyle Yeager. She is survived by a great niece and nephew, Olivia and Owen. She is also survived by two daughters by marriage, Shannon (Cory Collins) and Debie (Dan Gilbride) and three grandchildren, Claire, Caleb and Mary, all of whom she loved dearly. She made such a positive impact on all her family members.

Cerelle and John eloped to Maui, Hawaii in 2004 to be married after an extended courtship. Cerelle and John celebrated the births of 3 grandchildren and her great niece and great nephew during their years together. Cerelle loved all of her family so much and enjoyed family get-togethers. Her passion for traveling led her and John to Europe, Africa, Asia, Russia, South America, the Caribbean and places in between. She excelled at planning the trips for her and John and they marveled at seeing the world and experiencing different cultures. Cerelle worked most of her career in commodity brokerage and financial services. Cerelle was a graduate of Indiana University Kelly School of Business. She was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church. Cerelle and her family wish to thank all our friends, co-workers, friends of friends and family of friends who really got behind her and offered their prayers, love and support to her during her battle. A special thank you goes to the wonderful people of Oxford Financial Group who provided such an incredible support group that it was like a second family to Cerelle.

A celebration of Cerelle will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, May 21 at Cornerstone Christian Church, 8930 State Road 267 North, Brownsburg, IN. The funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the Fuller Center for Housing of Greater Indianapolis, Inc. in care of Ron Fisher, 2518 N. Lynhurst Drive, Speedway, IN 46224 or in her memory.
