Dania Carr Pugh
Age 81, of Bloomington, formerly of Indianapolis, died Wednesday at the I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospice House. Born July 6, 1932 in Hammond, Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert McKinley and Frances (Carr) DeWeese. She attended Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin and was a private in-home caregiver. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Indianapolis, Alpha Theta social sorority and the Political Studies Group at Butler University. She enjoyed knitting and had won several awards at the Indiana State Fair. She also enjoyed ballroom dancing and traveling all over the world.
She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Wendy Davis, of Bloomington, Rebecca and Dennis Hofer, of Danville, Indiana, and Edward and Amy Pattison, of Carmel, Indiana, one sister and brother-in-law, Darcy and Jerry Morrison, of Lebanon, Indiana, twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Edgar Pattison and Robert Pugh and one sister, Diann DeWeese Smith.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Day Funeral Home in Bloomington. Friends may visit the family from 9:30 a.m. to the service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
