Dee A. Brubaker

95, Indianapolis, passed away July 27, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Dee was born on Feb. 16, 1919 in Keystone, IN.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Alta Marie (Byerly) Brubaker on March 13, 2008.

Dee is survived by his sons, Jerry Brubaker (Nancy) of Jacksonville, FL and Michael Brubaker (Ann) of Rapid City, SD; grandchildren, Kelly (Brubaker) Stewart (Nick) of Raleigh, NC, Matt Brubaker (Cindy) of Jacksonville, FL, Chris Brubaker of Rapid City, SD and Marcus Brubaker (Lori) of Denver, CO; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Dee was an Army Veteran serving his country during WWII (1943-1946). He was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, since 1940. He worked for Allison Division of General Motors (Indianapolis) from 1939-1979.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Broadway United Methodist Church, 609 E. 29th Street, Indianapolis.
