81, of Bowling Green, passed away at his residence, Tuesday, June 3, 2014. He was born in Indianapolis on June 18, 1932 to Howard and Amy (Ingersoll) McCracken. He was a graduate of Indiana University. Fletcher served in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserves for 20 years. He was the owner of IVC Industrial Coatings. Mr. McCracken was a supply priest for St. Michaels in Noblesville, and a lay reader for Lantern Hills Episcopal Church. He was a member of the Gordon Pipers, the Indianapolis Scottish Rite and Highlander Piping Band, the Traders Point, New Britton, and Questover Hounds fox hunts, and he enjoyed farming and raising horses.
Mr. McCracken is survived by his wife of 59 years, Allyn (Heberer) McCracken; two sons, Michael (Carla) McCracken of Spencer and Kevin (Deanna) McCracken of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Alex McCracken, Kristen Mott, Patrick McCracken, Ryan McCracken; and a great grandchild, Noah Michael Mott. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
