Fred C. "Bud" Mayhew, Jr.

90, of Noblesville, passed away May 9, 2013. He was born in Boggstown, IN on September 16, 1922 to the late Fred C. and Alice Leavitt Mayhew.

Bud served his Country in the U.S. Army during WWII and received three bronze stars. He was the owner and operator of F.C. Mayhew & Sons Cement Contractor for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Broadripple 643, the Murat Shrine, and the Scottish Rite.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel , 9900 Allisonville Rd.

Bud is survived by his children, Larry Mayhew (Deb) and Neda Scales; granddaughter, Ashley Scales; grandson, Matt Mayhew (Lisa); great-grandsons, Bobby and Timmy. Bud's wife, Mary E. Mayhew, preceded him in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County.
