Janice Kay Conwell

78, of Indianapolis, passed away July 22, 2014. She was born July 9, 1936 to the late Cleo and Vera (Davis) Bash. Janice was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and studied Music at Indiana University. She married her High School Sweetheart & Butler Bulldog, Richard Conwell, June 30, 1957. Always devoted to her family, Janice was a faithful member of Irvington United Methodist Church for over 60 years, where she participated in many church activities and was an inspiration to others. She enjoyed employment at the former Indiana National Bank and throughout her lifetime, enjoyed traveling with family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 27, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel , 9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Monday at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Janice is survived by her loving husband, Richard; their devoted son and daughter, Gregg and Stacy (Verbarg); and their families including eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom are cherished and appreciated. One brother, Conrad Bash, affectionately known as Connie, preceded her in death.
