Juliet A. "Julie" Storkman Mills

age 52, of West Lafayette, passed away at 2:25 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family.

While living in Indianapolis, Julie and her family were members of St. Michael Catholic Church where she was a CCD instructor and very active their children's school and church activities. For the school year 1984-1985, Julie was a teacher at Pike High School in Indianapolis and then she became a chemistry lecturer and academic advisor with the School of Science at IUPUI in Indianapolis.

Surviving with her parents, Bob and Carol Storkman of Peru, IL and her husband, Jim, are their four children, Kathryn A. "Kate" Mills of Chicago, IL, Robert J. "Bob" Mills (wife, Bethany) of Orlando, FL, Abigail E. "Abby" Mills of Indianapolis, and Joseph E. "Joe" Mills of Raleigh, NC, her four siblings, Ellen Bowman (husband, Jeff) of Columbus, IN, William "Bill" Storkman (wife, Peggy) of Columbus, IN, Amy Naatz (husband, Michael) of Overland Park, KS, and Matthew Storkman (wife, Elizabeth) of Chicago, IL, her mother-in-law, Susan Siemers of Walkerton, IN, and 14 nieces and nephews.

Visitation 4-8 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at Hippensteel Funeral Home, 822 N. 9th Street, Lafayette, IN. Additional visitation from 11:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 2224 Sacramento Dr., West Lafayette, IN with Father David Buckles officiating. Burial to take place at Friends Cemetery in McNabb, IL. Memorial contributions in Julie's name may be made to the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, the United Way of Greater Lafayette, or the donor's . Hippensteel Funeral Home entrusted with care.
