Justin David Langford

of Zionsville, Indiana, passed away on May 17, 2014. He was born in Franklin, Indiana, on January 24, 1991, to Bryan and Janice (Barr) Langford. Justin's early childhood years were spent in Franklin, IN; Columbus, IN; Canton, MI; and Brentwood, TN. He moved to Zionsville in 2000 where he was an active member at New Hope Christian Church in Whitestown, Indiana, and a 2009 graduate of Zionsville Community High School. Justin received his BE in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University in May of 2013. After graduating from college he accepted an engineering position at Allison Transmission in Indianapolis where he had previously served as an intern for three summers.

Justin, first and foremost, loved life and people. He was an engineer by training and also had many passions: singing, playing guitar and piano, running, rollerblading, cooking, reading, and learning. He was always very insistent about helping and encouraging others, humble, and selfless even to the end, as he was an organ donor so that others may have a chance at a longer life.

He leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Bryan and Janice; brother, Kyle; grandparents, Norman and Mary Belle Barr and Jack and Jewell Langford; uncle, Eddie (Vicki) Barr and Kevin (Teri) Langford; the love-of-his-life, Kelsi Buckley; as well as cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 23 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, May 24 from 9-11 a.m. with a service of celebration beginning at 11:30 a.m. All will be held at New Hope Christian Church, 5980 S 650 E, in Whitestown, Indiana. Burial will follow at Zionsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Justin David Langford Memorial Fund at any First Financial bank location. These funds will be used for an annual college scholarship through the Boone County Community Foundation and a community project through the Zionsville Parks in a manner that reflects Justin's passions.

Arrangements are entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan- Zionsville.
