Larry Lee Waskom

71, of Cambridge City passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 2, 1942 in Richmond, IN to Mark and Anna M. Kendall Waskom. He was a 1960 graduate of Lincoln High School and attended Purdue University before graduating from Indiana College of Mortuary Science. After graduation he worked for 17 Years at Flanner and Buchanan Mortuaries before returning to Cambridge City in 1979. There he purchased Fisher Mortuary and Howard Funeral Home before retiring in 2007.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia A. Waskom; children, Larry Mark (Anne) Waskom of Columbus, Leann Waskom and her companion Tracy Johnson of Russiaville and Lance T. (Laura) Waskom of Greenwood; 7 grandchildren; twin sister, Linda (Dennis) Scott of Greenfield; and a nephew, Michael Scott.

Friends may gather at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City from 12:00 noon until start of Masonic services at 2:00 p.m.; Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
