Our beloved mother departed July 6, 2014 (at the age of 89) at Shell Point Hospice in Ft. Myers, Florida to meet her Savior. Born in Indianapolis, IN, to Minor and Ina Costelow on Nov. 1, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dr. Marion F. Arnold Jr. in 1958 and Dr. Donald P. King in 1993. Also preceded by her sister, Sandra (James) Hendricks. Kay is survived by her children, Dr. Donald G. (Beth) King, Marion F. She is also survived by her sister, Deloris Smithey; and brother, Vernon Costelow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kay was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church in Wanamaker, IN., and Peace Community Church in Ft. Myers, FL. Kay was a graduate of Indiana University School of Nursing in 1945. Her humble, caring, and giving nature spoke to the woman she was, always a smile and kind word for everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Services and burial of ashes will be in New Palestine Cemetery, IN, at a date yet to be determined. Kay supported many charities. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to your Church or favorite charity in her name.
