Marjorie Elizabeth Lohr Hall
Passed away March 23, 2014 at the age of 101. Marjorie is remembered with love by her daughter Susan Lohr Alexander, her grandchildren, Lara, Shannon, Carl, Heather and Erich and six great-grandchildren. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, John Anthony Hall and her daughter, Carol Lohr Hall Peters.
Born in Kokomo, IN. Marjorie was the third of four daughters of Charles Edward Lohr and Anne Burrows Lohr.
During high school Marjorie won the title of Beauty Queen for the city of Cleveland and danced in a vaudeville act for the B.B. Berry company of New York City.
Marjorie pledged Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at Denison University and also attended Ohio State University.
An actively involved mother, Marjorie served as PTA president at school 77 in Indianapolis. Later she worked at the Alpha Xi Delta Foundation headquarters. A long time Indianapolis resident, she lived in Marquette Manor prior to moving to Sarasota, FL in 2011. Marjorie's love for her family and friends was evidenced daily.
