Morris R. Chastain

85, Indianapolis, passed away on Aug. 2, 2014. He had worked at REA Express and then was a production worker for Chrysler Corp. and then worked for Simon Associates. A U.S. Army Korean War veteran, he was a member of the VFW and Brownsburg American Legion. He was an outstanding senior at the English Avenue Boys Club. He was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth, Fred, and Paul Chastain. Survivors include his wife, Helen Chastain; children, Sandra (Ed) Burkley, Terri (Peter) Morrison, Mark (Leslie) Chastain, Michael (Susan) Chastain, and Paula (Stephan) Meyer; sisters, Viola Thienes, Bonnie York, and Dollie (Raymond) Foland; brother, Donald (Trina) Chastain; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. on Wed. Aug. 6 in Matthews Mortuary , Brownsburg, with visitation from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Online guestbook at: http://www.matthewsmortuary.com
