Patricia B. Eddy

56, of Indianapolis, passed away on Dec. 1, 2013 after a courageous battle with breast cancer and leukemia. She was born in Ft. Wayne, IN to William and Marjorie Bennett. She married Stephen Eddy in 1985, he survives. She is also survived by step-daughters, Kelly (Bob) Mottweiler and Heather (Brian) Tinsley; sister, Barbara (John) Corbin; brother, Paul Bennett; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Louise Eddy. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jane Walters. Patty was a 32 year employee of IU Health and was blessed with a great group of co-workers in the pathology laboratory. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 in Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel . Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6th and from 11:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Marion County Public Library, or, as able, individuals may make blood or platelet donations to a local blood bank.
