Pauline Lucas

80, of Indianapolis, passed away October 15, 2013. She was born June 7, 1933 in Woodburn, KY to the late John and Sally Harris. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jurline Weatherford; sister, Ruth Chaffin; twin brother, Paul Harris; brothers, Harold Harris, John Ed Harris, and Claude Foster. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Herman Lucas; children, Ronnie (Barbara) Turner, Randy (Diane) Turner, David (Darla) Turner, Frank (Rhea) Lucas; grandson, Ray Weatherford, who was raised like a son by Pauline and Herman; 44 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Pauline was a member of the Friendship Apostolic Church for over 40 years. She was a home health caretaker for many years and also worked for RCA. She enjoyed church and her grandchildren. Pauline also loved her Pugs and working in the garden. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Noon in the Friendship Apostolic Church, 2350 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis. Interment to follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East , 10722 E. Washington Street. There will also be visitation at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to . Friends may share a memory at:
