Richard "Dick" Grant Teagar

82, Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012. He was born June 22, 1930 in Muncie to the late Virgil G. and Louise Ricks Teagar and raised in New Castle. Dick married Linda Kay Bender September 9, 1972 at Greenwood, who survives. Other survivors include his daughter Theresa Ann Teagar, Indianapolis; sister Louise T. (Stephen) James, Michigan City and several nieces and nephews. He was an Indiana University graduate and an Army veteran. He was a member of the Sports Car Club of America and attended 62 consecutive Indianapolis "500" races. Dick had been employed at Riley Park Tire 25 years as assistant manager retiring in 1995. He previously had been employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Greenwood Mall 12 years as manager. A Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24 at Singleton Com munity Mortuary and Memorial Center.
