Robert "Bud" Owen Bilyeu

91, died June 22, 2012 at home. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 9, 1921 and lived in Marion County his entire life. He graduated from Manual High School and served in the Army during WWII. He saw action in the South Pacific, both in the Philippines and New Guinea, and received the Bronze Star. Bud retired from Naval Avionics and was a member of the American Legion. He was predeceased by his brother, Paul Vernon Bilyeu and is survived by his son, Timothy Bilyeu of Vero Beach, Florida; 3 grandsons and 2 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospice. Visitation will be at Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home , 6107 S. East Street (US Hwy 31 South), Indianapolis, IN 46227 on Friday, June 29th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be no services. Online condolences may be shared with the family at:
