Talbott William Denny, Jr.

59, died unexpectedly on January 11, 2014, at his home in Lake Worth, Florida.

He was born July 9, 1954, in Indianapolis to Talbott and Madonna Denny. Talbott graduated from Indianapolis Bishop Chatard High School in 1972 and then went on to Indiana University and then Michigan State University where he graduated from the Turf Management program.

Beyond his family, his interests included meeting old and new friends for a beer and a game of pool. He also enjoyed watching basketball and football games, especially the Miami Dolphins and anything to do with the Indiana Hoosiers. He turned his passion for the game of golf into his career as a golf course management professional.

Mr. Denny was preceded in death by his beloved parents and is survived by his wife of 17 years, Susan Denny, his children and step children, Austin Denny, McLean Denny, Patrick Maynard and Erin Maynard. He is also survived by his siblings, Karen Denny Mathon (Mountain View, CA), Kathryn Denny (North Hampton, MA), Steve Denny (Tucson, AZ), Lisa Reynolds (River Forrest, IL), Joanie Denny (Scottsdale, AZ) along with his grandchild, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Talbott's life will be enjoyed by his immediate family at his home in Florida. All of his other dear family and friends are encouraged to take a moment to remember him as he would want by raising a glass, forming a kind thought and by giving a little of what you have to someone or something that needs it more than you do.
