Wayne Meyer Wurfel

59, of Beloit, Wisconsin, died on Friday, July 18, 2014 at his home in Beloit.

Wayne was born on October 1, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Edward W. Wurfel and Gertrude L. Meyer. Wayne was born in Indianapolis but spent his life growing up in Plainfield, Indiana. He retired after 30 years of hard work and dedication at General Motors Assembly. Wayne also loved spending time with his family and friends. Wayne passed this life after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Wayne is survived by three brothers, Mark (Deborah) Wurfel of Wichita, KS, Brian Wurfel of Ft. Wayne, IN, Bruce Wurfel of Carbon, IN; one sister, Sue (Jeffrey) of Avon, IN; four nieces; one nephew and one great-nephew.
