Wilford Leon Wisner
79 years old, was born Nov. 9, 1934 in New Augusta, IN to Howard L. and Edith L. (Priddy) Wisner and passed away on Jan. 29, 2014 in Sun City Center, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Robert E.; and one grandchild. Surviving him are his wife, Marion E. (Frommelt); and his three children, Andrea, Sharon, and Glenn; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Carolyn Mann and Kathleen (Katie) Burney.
Wilford attended John Strange Grade School and Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, IN. He delivered the Indianapolis Star Newspaper for many years and was awarded the Star Purdue scholarship by achieving a perfect scholastic average. After studying electrical engineering at Purdue University, he spent one year as a Fulbright Scholar in Aachen, Germany. Then he attended Harvard Law School and studied patent law. He worked for AT&T, Bell Labs, and Alcatel Lucent and after retiring, for Finnegan Henderson. Wil was a hard-working man and a very loving husband and father whom everyone loved.
