William Albert Redmond, Sr.

87 of Indianapolis died on February 19, 2013. He was born to Albert and Kathyrn Redmond in Kalamazoo, MI on May 16, 1925. He was a graduate of St. Augustine High School and University of Michigan. He served in the Navy during WWII. William was an aeronautical engineer for Allison Division of General Motors. He was a member of Woodland and Ulen Country Clubs and charter member of St. Luke Catholic Church. William is survived by wife, Barbara McLaughlin Redmond; son, William A. (Mary) Redmond, Jr.; grandchildren, Jason and Meagan Holder, P. Kathleen, Albert Michael, M. Colleen, and B. Maureen Redmond; 2 great grandchildren; and brother, Thomas Redmond. He was preceded in death by daughter, Jane Ann Holder.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, February 24th from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 25th at 11:30 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church.
