William E. Pattison
age 91, of Jasper, Indiana and formerly of Carmel, Indiana died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Timbers of Jasper Nursing Center in Jasper, Indiana. He was born September 12, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Howard and Elsie (Evans) Pattison. On April 3, 1943 he married Louise "Jackie" (Callaham) Pattison. He was a 1939 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis and was a graduate of Purdue University.
William owned the Ralph R. Reeder Roofing Company in Indianapolis. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a lifelong member of the Carmel United Methodist Church and the Carmel Lyons Club. Mr. Pattison was the former Town Board President of Carmel, Indiana. He also was a member of the Warsaw, Indiana American Legion and VFW. The Indianapolis Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. William enjoyed deer hunting, camping, woodcarving, ballroom and square dancing and making jewelry.
He is survived by his wife, Louise "Jackie" Pattison; one daughter, Carol and husband Michael Staab of Shoals, Indiana; one son, William H. and wife Janet Pattison of Yorktown, Virginia; along with five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Howard and Elsie (Evans) Pattison.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14th at the Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Loogootee, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carmel Indiana Lyons Club.
