Marvin Leroy Leggett, 68, passed away on May 9 at St. Rose Hospital, Hayward. He served in the
, worked over 30 years at Hunter's Point Naval Shipyard and Naval Supply Center, and 10 years at Kaiser Permanente Hospital and Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife Veronica Leggett, sons Marvin Leggett, Jr. and Brian Leggett, grandchildren Taletha Leggett and Malcolm Leggett, great grandson Aiden Fennell, mother Dorothy Corn, brother Carl Leggett, sister Patricia Simons, nieces, nephews and cousins. His greatest joy was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great grandson. He was an avid S.F. Giants and 49ers fan who loved gardening.
A Homegoing Celebration of Life was held May 24 in Marvin's hometown, Winchester, TN.
