Robert Wayne "Big Bob" FrauhigerRobert Wayne "Big Bob" Frauhiger, 72 of Hilton Head, passed away peacefully at his home on August 14, 2014. Bob was born in Decatur, Indiana and was one of 11 children. He graduated from Decatur High School and attended Indiana University. While at IU he joined Sigma Nu Fraternity. Bob has been a Low Country resident since the early eighties and is survived by many island friends. Bob was known for many things, including driving around in his customized "Captain Woody's Jeep" as well as being a tinkerer and being a Mr. Fix It; there was not anything Bob could not fix. Big Bob was extremely generous with his time and talent. He was well organized to a fault - no one ever saw him without his day-planner. Friends will always remember how much Bob enjoyed a challenging philosophical conversation on self- healing and "solving the world's problems". Celebration of his life will be held September 7, 2014, time and location to be determined.
