The Guest Book is expired.
After years of fighting round-after-round, our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend Beth Ann Cotsonis lost her courageous, head-strong battle with breast cancer.
Beth was the daughter of Ralph T. Haddad and Rebecca A. (Yoder) Haddad, born on November 8, 1975, in Denver, Colorado. She attended Aurora Central High School, where she played volleyball and basketball. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Colorado State University. Beth earned her Master's Degree in Counseling at the University of Phoenix.
In 2002 Beth moved to Nevada for her first official job at Dayton High School in Carson City as a school counselor. She was also head coach of the girls' basketball team. After Dayton she worked as a school counselor at Silver State Charter High School until 2013. During her time at both schools, she touched and changed the lives of high school students. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of many of her students.
Beth was an avid sports fan, including the Denver Broncos and St. Louis Cardinals and is known for her strong love of Disney, especially Snow White.
Beth is survived by her family from Carson City, Nevada; Aurora, Colorado; and Lafayette, IN, including her beloved husband George Cotsonis, her two children Ella Cotsonis (7) and Demitri Cotsonis (5), two step-daughters Athena Cotsonis (19) and Alexandria Cotsonis (17), Carson City, NV; her parents, brother, and sister Ralph T. Haddad and Rebecca A. (Yoder) Haddad, Timothy Haddad, and Mindi Haddad, Aurora, CO; and her aunts Marilyn Yoder and Charlene Darnell (husband, Daniel), Lafayette, IN. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Marvin and Lucy Yoder.
Beth will forever be remembered as a loving, caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend.
A celebration of Beth's life took place on Saturday, July 19, at Walton's Chapel of the Valley at Carson City, NV, and another will be held in Colorado on August 9, time and place to be determined.
