Jean E. Musser, 91

Jean E. Musser, 91, of Otterbein, died, Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Westminster Village, West Lafayette. She was born, October 7, 1921, in Romney, to the late Joe & Jessie (Martin) Hammer. She was a 1940 graduate of Romney High School and had attended Purdue University studying Home Economics. She married Alvin A. Musser, October 4, 1947, in Lafayette; he died, October 28, 1991. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being with her Family and her grandchildren, Crocheting and Needlepoint. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed not only watching them on television but also attending numerous sporting events.

Surviving are five sons, Dennis Musser, Otterbein, Martin Musser (wife: Deb), Otterbein, Bruce Musser (wife: Deb), Peru, Glenn Musser (wife: Connie), Otterbein, Terry Joe Musser (wife: Candis), Otterbein; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brother, George Hammer, Odon, and sister, Phyllis Fawbush, Oxnard, Calif.

Son, David Musser; grandson, Matthew Musser; daughter-in-law, Sharon Musser and three sisters, Margaret Ann Vest, Barbara Nobel and Pat Royer precede her in death.

Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Otterbein United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. at the church on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, with Pastor John Randall officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made, to Otterbein Rec Association or Otterbein United Methodist Church. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, is assisting the family with services.
