Marjorie Mae Fleenor Weigle, 75

Marjorie Mae Fleenor Weigle, 75, of Lafayette, formerly of Otterbein went to be with her late husband Ernest Leslie Weigle on July 26, 2013. They were married on September 11, 1960, in Otterbein; he died September 16, 1988. She was born May 5, 1 938 to the late F. Linden and Edith (Dawson) Fleenor.

She enjoyed life on the farm where they raised four children. She later retired from Purdue University after working 25 years at Young Graduate House. She was a 1956 graduate of Otterbein High School. She had a passion for music and in her early years sang on WASK radio. She also enjoyed gardening and travelling. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and Beulah Chapter 103 Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two Sons, Marvin L. Weigle (Shelly), Mike L. Weigle (Deb), two Daughters, Carolyn M. Rogers and Cheryl M. Weigle (Troy Warner), nine Grandchildren & Step-Grandchildren, Josh Swanson, Brook King, Jake Warner, Justin Brummett¸ Kalob Weigle, Jada Rogers, Keegan Lawcock, Cody and Hannah Weigle & four Great-Grandchildren, Maci King, Ariah and KaElla Swanson, and Kaden Brummett. She had many nieces and nephews she dearly loved. A Brother James Fleenor and two Sisters, Lois Jean Sims and Elsie Deckard precede her in death. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Monday, July 29, 2013, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein. Funeral services will be, Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 10 AM with Rev. Nathan Whybrew officiating. Burial will be at Pond Grove Cemetery, Otterbein. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, to Area 4 Council on Aging.
