Sue H. Hopper Holloway, 80, of Delphi, died Fri., Mar. 14, 2014 at 9am at her daughter's home near Delphi. She was born Oct. 30, 1933 in Brazil, IN, to the late James & Thelma Miller Hopper. Her marriage was to Buddy E. Holloway in Yeoman, on Oct. 16, 1959, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 2010. She was a 1951 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Monticello, and attended Purdue University, where she studied business. She worked at FmHA (Farmer's Home Administration) at offices in Delphi, Monticello, and Lafayette, from 1974-until her retirement in 1998, as a loan officer. She was a former member of the Pittsburg Church of the Brethren, and a former member of the Rose Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Delphi, that merged with Rossville Helen Bonebrake OES Chapter. She held many offices, and was a past worthy matron, and held offices at the state level of the OES as well. She was a former mother advisor for the Rainbow Girls #17 Delphi Chapter. She enjoyed painting with her friend Emily. She dearly loved her family, and the many family gatherings they shared together. Surviving: daughter-Cindy & Derrick Muse of Delphi; daughter-Connie L. Noble of Delphi; daughter-Nancy & Derek Walter of Lincoln, Nebraska. 8 grandchildren: Liz, Luke, Charlie, Allie, Ben, Joe, August, Zach, 3 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter Teri, an inf. grandson. Services: Friends may call Monday from 5-8pm at Abbott Funeral Home-Delphi, with a OES service at 7:30pm.
