Muenzner, Carl B. Entered into Eternal Life on February 16, 2014, at the young age of 100. Resident of the Milwaukee Catholic Home, former longtime resident of Shorewood. Beloved husband for 30 years of the late Margaret M. (nee Millman) Muenzner. Loving brother of Elizabeth (the late George) Asztalos, Kathryn (the late Jim) Sullivan and of the late Dr. Richard (Doris) Muenzner, George (Angela) Muenzner, Alice (George) Gallun, Elaine (Art) Curtis, Walter Muenzner, and Robert "Bobby" Muenzner. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. Carl was born in Milwaukee the son of the late Dr. Richard and Alice (nee Beck) Muenzner. He was a member of the "Big Ten" at Marquette High School and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Carl proudly served his country as a Medic with the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a longtime member of Serra International, First Friday Club, an usher at Saint Robert's Catholic Church, and a volunteer for the Veteran's Administration. Carl loved skiing and was an avid golfer. He was always up for a good round of golf, walking the course up until age 99. He was a "genuine man" in every sense of the word. His loving, giving and caring spirit was very evident to anyone who was fortunate enough to cross his path. Carl lived a strong life of faith; his spiritual life always came first. He was a loving and devoted husband, brother and uncle. Carl will be deeply missed but will forever be remembered for his robust laughter, interest in others and a friend to all. "See ya on the slopes" Carl Visitation will take place on Friday, February 21, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM at the Milwaukee Catholic Home, St. Anne's Chapel, 2462 N. Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee, followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will be private for the family.
