Aamodt, David R. After a four year courageous battle with cancer, David entered Heavens Gates on October 21, 2011, at the age of 54 years. Preceded in death by his parents Marlys and Burton. Loving husband of Susan (nee Olen). Beloved father of Jennifer Meyer, Jesica (Craig) Nichols and Kristen. Proud papa of Brandon James and Wesley David. Dear brother of Marilyn (Gene) Behnke, Barbara (Jack) Ernest, Linda (Gary) Masnak, Laurel (Bill) Wilson, Robert (Laura). Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends. A Memorial Celebration of David's life will be held Friday, October 28, 2011, from 3:30 PM until time of Service at 6 PM, at ST. PAUL'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (3775 East Cudahy Avenue, Cudahy). David proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired as a police lieutenant from the Cudahy Police Department, serving the community for 30 years. David was currently employed at the Wisconsin State Fair as a police officer.
