Cyganiak, Eugene F. "Geno" Born to Eternal Life Dec. 31, 2012, at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Lewandowski). Loving father of David (Cynthia) of Sun City West, AZ, the late Mark (Susan) and Neal (LaConna) of Madison, AL. Dear Dzia Dzia of Katie (Michael) Barwinczak, Joey and Nora. Dear brother of Regina (Stanley) Zylka and Theresa (Ray) Markowski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eugene was a retiree of MMSD, a member of the Sons of Neptune, Noel Society and a longtime member of the Basilica of St. Josaphat Parish where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and a former Usher and CYO Director. He was also a proud U.S. Army veteran of WWII where he earned a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. In lieu of flowers memorials to the St. Josaphat Basilica Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral Friday, Jan. 4, at 9:30 AM from the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM, at the BASILICA OF ST. JOSAPHAT, 601 W. Lincoln Ave. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Funeral Home from 4:00 - 7:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 6:00 PM.
