Dean, John Seabury III Passed away on August 8, 2014, at the age of 91. Born to Albert Briggs Dean and Helen Mairs Dean on July 22, 1923, he grew up in Duluth and Minneapolis. John studied at the
University of Minnesota
before joining the Navy during WWII. While in the San Francisco port in January 1946, he met Maria Argentina Gandara, the love of his life. They married August 24, 1947 and had a son and two daughters. His family life was full of joy, love and most of all, laughter. John's integrity and honesty were unequalled, and his love of life always showed in his smile. Survived by his wife Maria, son John Seabury Dean IV, daughters Maria Teresa "Terry" (Kico) Gandara, Debbie (Jim) Kraemer. Grandchildren Kalysta (Eric) Wertzler, John Seabury Dean V, Maria Emilia (Eduardo) Andino, Enrique Andres "Andy" Gandara (fiancée Haley Cymbalak) and Sarah Stackley (partner Frank Brooks). He is further survived by his brother Samuel M. (Jeanne) Dean, many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters Constance Esco and Barbara Gorman. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
