Biersack, Lori Ann Passed peacefully in God's loving care September 27, 2013. Born January 12, 1966. Loving daughter of Larry and Nancy Biersack, dear sister of Lisa (Jeff) Butzlaff and Larry, Jr. (Michelle) Biersack, loving aunt of Heather, Holly, Hannah, Hayden Butzlaff and Kourtnea, Korben, Kaylan Biersack. Also survived by other relatives and friends. A Gathering will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 4, from 4 - 5:45PM with a Celebration of Life at 6PM. Lori's final resting place will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Lori attended Easter Seals pre-school and was a 1971 poster child. Lori attended Milwaukee Public Schools and graduated from Hamilton High School. Lori was a member of the Girl Scouts, 4-H club, Milwaukee Hamilton High School Choir and Alumni Choir, Arts in Motion and WI Very Special Arts. Lori was one of the original athletes of the first Milwaukee Public School Special Olympic team. Lori then joined the West Allis Special Olympics. Lori competed in track, volleyball, bowling, softball and swimming; she won many ribbons and medals. Lori worked for Milwaukee Center for Independence (formerly Jewish Vocational Service) and attended their Day Service (City Life) for more than 24 years. Lori loved sports, music, arts and crafts, vacations, the outdoors, gardening, fishing, video games, Brewers, Packers and casino gambling. Lori had two special dogs in her life, Maggie and Charlie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Milwaukee Center for Independence, Easter Seals of Milwaukee, ALS Association of WI. Thanks to all the people that have shown kindness to Lori during her life. A special thanks to Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care. Lori cherished her time with her sister, brother, their spouses, nieces and nephews, as they were all very loving to her. Mom will miss her "casino buddy" and dad will miss his "fishing partner." It is a privilege to have you as a daughter. We love you. You will be in our hearts forever.
