Robert L. "Big Bob" Weigman Notice
Weigman, Robert L. "Big Bob" Age 81, left us for a better place on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. He was born March 1, 1932, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Evangeline Lillian and Richard P Weigman. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Margaret M. Weigman (nee Murphy) - still head over heels in love. Also his eight children, Robert (Meredith) Weigman, Michael (Karen) Weigman, Mary Lynn (Randy) Eichers, Richard (Kathryn) Weigman, Jean (James) Charboneau, John "Jack, Chuck" Weigman, Julie (John) Peggs, and Thomas (Dana) Weigman. His 21 grandchildren and 8½ great-grandchildren will miss their "G-pa". Bob was in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany from 1952 to 1954. He retired a City of Milwaukee Police Officer after 35 years of service. He also gave his support to his wife and children's preschools, childcares, and auto shops. He leaves behind a close extended family and a wealth of good friends, Packer games, cigars and cocktails, muskie fishing, and cribbage games. But from heaven, he will continue doing what he enjoyed most; watching all the people he brought into this world live and be happy. There will be a visitation at St. Catherine of Alexandria church in Mapleton, WI, this Thursday, April 18, from 3-5PM with service to follow.
