Suzanne E. "Sue" Rodenkirk

Notice Condolences

Rodenkirk, Suzanne E. "Sue" (Nee Schroeder) Entered Eternal Life on February 13, 2013, at the age of 77. Resident of Whitefish Bay. Beloved daughter of the late Oscar W. and Florence (nee Dopke) Schroeder. Loving wife of David Rodenkirk. Dear sister of Joanne (Robert) Gialdini. Proud aunt of Don (Faith) Rodenkirk and children, Krista, Alex and Lindsey; and Jim (Jayne) Rodenkirk and children, Katie and Kelly Rodenkirk. Preceded in death by brother-in-law, Don Rodenkirk and sister-in-law, Helen (nee Heckl) Rodenkirk. Further survived by family friend Mary Louise (Marty) Zavodnik, other kind relatives and friends. Sue graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and taught in the Milwaukee Public School System for 20 years. After that she sold residential real estate in the Milwaukee North Shore area for 20 years. Sue loved being outdoors and she and Dave enjoyed years of traveling, skiing and racing/cruising their sailboats on the Great Lakes together. Visitation will take place on Monday, February 18, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Monica Catholic Church, 5601 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Whitefish Bay (corner of N. Santa Monica Blvd. and E. Silver Spring Drive) followed by celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery will be private for the family. Memorials in Sue's name may be made to St. Monica Parish, 160 E. Silver Spring Drive, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217 or The MACC Fund, 10000 W. Innovation Drive, Suite 135, Milwaukee, WI 53226.
