Mueller, Thomas J., Atty. Age 90 years, Born to Eternal Life at Arbor View, in Pewaukee, on January 15, 2013, with his family at his side. Tom was born on December 9, 1922, to Flora and August Mueller. He attended St. Sebastian Catholic School and Wauwatosa East High School. At age 19, he enlisted and served his country in
World War II
as a first Lieutenant of the
United States Marine Corps
. Following his discharge in 1946, he attended the
University of Notre Dame
on the GI bill and continued his studies in business administration. He then completed his education at Marquette University Law school. On November 13, 1948, he married Helen Woelfel at St. Thomas Aquinas in Milwaukee. He was the first President of the Parish Council of St. Pius X Church, Wauwatosa. Tom and Helen enjoyed a loving marriage of 63 years before Helen's death in 2011. Thomas is survived by 6 children, Richard Mueller (Barbara) of Wauwatosa, John (Sally) of Milwaukee, Joan McHugh (Terry) of Kirkwood, MO, Beth LaChance (Steve) of Waukesha, David Mueller (Karen) of Flagstaff, AZ, and Jane Mueller of Brookfield. Tom was blessed with 27 grandchildren, Michael (Margaret) Rachael Mueller, Peter Mueller, Stephanie Mueller, Joseph Mueller, Elizabeth Elsaesser (Theodore), Catherine Mueller, Robert Mueller, Mark Mueller, Megan Lengyel (Craig), Maureen Rowles (Christopher), Shannon Marschner (Thomas,) Colleen Bellamy (Robert), Ryan McHugh, Jennifer LaChance, Danielle Fitzpatrick (Brian), Michelle LaChance, Julia LaChance, Michael LaChance, Stephanie LaChance, Lauren Mueller, Daniel Bielinski (Lillian), Maureen Bielinski, Meghan Bielinski, David Bielinski, Maura Bielinski and Mary Kate Bielinski. In recent years, Tom became the proud great-grandfather of 11 children including Colin, Austin and Anna Lengyel, Evelyn and Audrey Mueller, Elia and Gianna Rowles, Brendan Marschner, Finn Fitzpatrick, Ethan LaChance and Xavier Bielinski and a brother, Richard Mueller in Washington. Visitation Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, N35 W23360 Capitol Drive; Pewaukee, WI, from 11:00 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at noon, followed by military honors. Interment St. Mary's Visitation Cemetery, Elm Grove. A reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Fulton Sheen Foundation, 419 NE Madison Avenue, Peoria, IL, 61603.
