Baird in 1981. Tom was the founding branch manager for the North Shore R.W. Baird office. He retired in 2012 after 31 years as a Senior Vice President. Perhaps Tom's most favorite role was a champion of the young professional, teaching them the nature of the investment business, and the importance of caring about relationships and people. His integrity, highest commitment to customers, dynamic spirit and loyal service will be sorely missed. Tom was a long time member of St. Eugene Parish in Fox Point where he was Parish Council President and Athletic Director. He also served on the board of directors at St. Coletta of Wisconsin and at the Infectional Intestinal Disease Department at the Medical College in Milwaukee. Through the years Tom continued to support his cherished Notre Dame as President of the Notre Dame Club of Milwaukee for several terms and serving on the National Alumni Board of Notre Dame. He was the inspirational force behind the ND Club Golf Outing Benefiting the Ara Parseghian Foundations for Niemann-Pick Type C. He also established the Tom and Sarah Mulcahy Family Endowed Collection in Irish Studies. He has always been a huge promoter of all things Notre Dame including the Order of the Holy Cross and both men and women sports. Tom will be remembered, amongst many things, for his: deep commitment and love of Sarah, support of his children, attending his grandchildren sporting and important life events; bus trips to ND; love of sports, music, singing and old movies; Packer games; the Grand Master's Boca Tennis Group the Shamrock Open Golf Outing; playing bridge and sheapshead; lunching with his brothers; his two hole-in-ones; Tailgating at ND home games, the writing and performing of the yearly Christmas Pageant; and his personable and infectious demeanor that made family and friends of all ages feel welcomed and good about themselves. To many he is simply and lovingly -Coach. Tom will be missed by his family and friends at Elkhart Lake, WI; Boca Grande, FL; South Bend, IN; the Greater Milwaukee Area and all across the country connected by a belief in God, Family, and Notre Dame.
