Dr. Dwight Teel

1918 - 2016

Teel, Dr. Dwight August 24, 1918 - October 11, 2016 Dwight passed away peacefully on October 11, 2016 at Masonic Health Care Center in Dousman, WI at the age of 98. He was born in DuQuoin, Illinois and was an Educator all of his life. He worked in many areas of education before retiring from Milwaukee Public Schools. He served in the army during World War II in the Aleutian Islands and celebrated his time in the service with a trip on the Honor Flight. He always had a smile and a story to share. To know him was to love him. Dwight is survived by his daughter-in-law Susan, granddaughters; Jacqueline (Skip) Dexter, Ashley Teel, Allison (Brad) Fuhrman, five great grandchildren: Payton, Cooper, Avary, Haddisen, and Kennedy, along with many relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Eugenia, his son Philip, and granddaughter Shannon. As a passionate educator, he donated his body to the Medical College of Wisconsin. A Memorial service will be held at Three Pillars-Village on the Square- at the Ewald Chapel, 375 Hwy 67 in Dousman on October 27th. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 with a service to follow.
