Army and served our country during the Korean War, and subsequently met the love of his life while serving on Ellis Island, Marilyn Ready. Together they settled in East Hartford, where they raised a family. In 1979, Bill and Marilyn moved to Sanford, Maine, where they lived until Bill's retirement in 1985. Upon his retirement they moved back to South Windsor, where he spent the last 29 years. Bill was a member of the Elks Lodge in East Hartford and Sanford, Maine, and the Masonic Lodge in East Hartford. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and hunting in his younger years. Bill loved to travel and enjoyed cruises and spending time in Old Vegas. He was an avid New York Yankees, UConn Huskies, and New York Knicks fan.
