Paul K. Bowen, 75, of Enfield, and formerly Brooksville, Fla., cherished husband for 31 years to the late Joyce A. (Bolstridge) Bowen, peacefully passed away surrounded by many family members at St. Francis Hospital on Sunday, March 31, 2013.

Paul was a retired truck driver and a proud member of the Teamsters Local #671. He served in the U.S. Army, was an avid race fan and he was a generous and kind friend to many. Most importantly, Paul was a loyal husband, a wonderful brother, father, and grandfather to all. Paul will be dearly missed by everyone his life has touched.
Paul is survived by his son, Kenneth Bowen; stepchildren, Paula Bouchard, and her husband, Ron, Edward Flemke, Gloria Nadeau, John King, Mary Burke, and her husband Mark, Deborah Galetta, and her husband, Randy; grandchildren, Jordan and Kenneth Bowen, Chelsea and Serena Nadeau, Ryan King, Nick and Sean Burke, Madison Galetta; a great-grandson, Isaiah; his brother, Dale Bowen, and his longtime companion, Sharon; his sister, Joanne Butterworth, and her husband, Gary. Paul was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family for visiting hours on Wednesday, April 3, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Bassinger & Dowd Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St., East Windsor. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
