She also published ReCareering Newsletter, circulating to outplacement firms, corporations, and downsized middle managers for four years during the 1990s. Sharon had lived in the Asheville area from 2004 when she moved her graphic design business to North Carolina from the Chicago. She continued to serve her Chicago and Asheville clients until retiring in 2011. Always a concerned environmentalist, Sharon was active in several hiking groups after moving to North Carolina. She also worked at the polls during Early Voting and for presidential and local candidates in recent elections and in support of various progressive causes. Sharon leaves a daughter, Diane Shishido, of Charlotte NC; a son, Mark Bobbitt, of Roselle IL and his wife Sylvia; granddaughters Katherine Shishido of Chicago and Caroline Shishido of Charlotte; and grandsons, Thomas Bobbitt of Hurst TX and Stephen Walt of Mount Prospect IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Katheryn Blemler Cramer and Ward C. Cramer of Freeport IL; and her husband, Harry J. Schuster of Northbrook, IL, who died in an interstate accident in 1996.
