SARASOTA, FL - Donald L. Holsinger, 90, passed away on Sunday April 6 in Sarasota, FL Don was born on August 31, 1923, son of the late Ross and Marian (Mohrbacher) Holsinger, in Racine, WI He graduated from St. Catherine's High School in 1940 where he was a champion boxer. He was a World War II veteran, having served in both the European and Pacific theaters. An avid fisherman, he and his wife Eleanor spent many summers in Minocqua, WI were they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Don was a life member of the Des Plaines, IL American Legion. He was a graduate of Loyola University where he received his Bachelor of Arts and received his Master's degree from Lake Forest College He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, son Lawrence J. (Pamela) Kalaczynski and two grandchildren Thomas (Stephanie) Kalaczynski and Amy Kalaczynski. He is also survived by five sisters - Lois (Norbert) Neumann, Marilynn (Donald) Hauch, Carol (Emil) Hess, Donna (Gerald) Bohlman and Dianne (Harold) Allen.
