LEWISVILLE,TX - John passed away June 30th, 2014 in Lewisville, Texas at the age of 47. He and his wife Tracey moved there about two years ago. Unfortunately, John was not covered by life insurance, and there is a limit to what the VA will cover in relation to funeral cost. We are currently making arrangements to have John transported back to Racine. John was born and raised in Racine, WI, the third child of Gary Lee and Constance (Marx) Cochran. He was a graduate of William Horlick High School, a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, and a diehard Green Bay Packers, and NASCAR fan. He was known for his sense of humor, always cracking jokes and lightening the mood, and loved to play pratical jokes. He enjoyed doing yard work, and was especially fond of working on his lawn when he lived in Racine. He also took pleasure in fishing, and camping with the kids. John was a thoughtful person, and would go out of his way to help family and friends. John is survived by his wife Tracey, sons Kyle and John Jr., daughter Kaylie, mother Connie, and sister Rowena (Kevin) O'Neill. He was preceded in death by his father, sister Lorie and brother Joe. A celebration will be held on August 23, 2014 from 3-6 pm at 3422 Lasalle St.
