Kenneth Baldwin Sr. RACINE - Kenneth Lee Baldwin, Sr., 89, passed away at WFH All Saints Hospital on Monday, February 20, 2012. Ken was born in Danville, Illinois on July 10, 1922, but had called Racine home since he was a child. Ken was a graduate of Park High School, and proudly served in the Army during WWII from 1942-1945. After returning from France he began working at Jacobson Manufacturing where he was a machinist for over 42 years. He is survived by his daughters, Sue (Paul Lyons) Baldwin of Wheatland, and Sandy (Dave) Treffert of Racine; his son Kenneth (Marcia Oliver) Lee Baldwin, Jr. of Racine; grandsons, Mike Treffert of Madison, and Ben Treffert of Racine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dr. LaVerve Joan Duda; and his sisters, Margaret Ingeman and Lee Martin. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2012. Interment and military honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Caledonia. Visitation will being in the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Special thanks are extended to Marcia Oliver for the special friendship, care, and assistance provided you provided for our dad.
