Phillip H. Kendall Waterford- Phillip H. Kendall, age 85, passed away August 20th, 2013 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Phillip was born November 30th, 1927 to Carroll and Ida (nee Richmond) Kendall. Phillip grew up in Chicago; where he attended high school and went on to serve his country in World War II. After returning from war, Phillip was blessed to meet, the love of his life, Helen J. Hegemann. Phillip and Helen were married February 23rd, 1963 and began their lives together, having recently celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Phillip was a hardworking man who later went on to be a police officer. He was an officer in city of Burlington for 25 years. All the while helping raise eight beautiful children and numerous lovely grandchildren and great grandchildren. Phillip left behind many loved ones, including his lovely wife Helen and his children Kathleen (Kevin) Douglas of Elkhorn, Mitchell (Kathleen) Kendall of East Troy, Arlene Weyrough of Lake Geneva, Robert (Gail) Wilson of Burlington, Lu Ann (Thomas) Ackley of Ocala, FL, Jon Kendall of Waterford, Timothy (Connie) Kendall of Crystal Lake, IL, and Peggy (Michael) Dolge of Waterford. Phillip will be further missed by his adoring grandchildren Aimee Tabura, Sarah Rickabaugh, Tammy Nannemann, Jason Kendall, Julie Hennes, Jamie Dexter, Paul Wilson, Mark Ackley, Tyler Kendall, Elizabeth Kendall, Amanda Dolge, Stephanie Dolge, and his many great grandchildren. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Wilmer (Bill) and Robert Kendall, as well as his son-in-law Lance Weyrough. At the request of the family, there will be a private memorial, which will be held at a later date.
