SOMERS – Richard ‘Starky’ W. Stark, 70, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital. He was born in Milwaukee on December 15, 1942, the son of Wallace and Delores (nee: Bird) Stark. Dick proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a former member of Faith Lutheran Church. Dick retired from J. I. Case Company after many years of service. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed many years of trap shooting with his son at the Case Gun Club and was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. Surviving is his mother, Delores, son, Troy (Rita DeBoer) Stark, daughters, Tammy Stark and Katie Stark; five grandchildren, Heather, Robin, Krystle, Kristopher and Shawn; two great grandsons, Owen and Zoey; two sisters, Nancy (Dale) Krebs and Sandra (Bruce) Schwoch. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his father, Wallace. Memorial services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 12 noon with Rev. Jeffrey Mortenson officiating. Dick will be laid to rest at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. There will be a time for family and friends to meet at the funeral home on Wednesday, before services from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon.
