. GREENDALE - William A. “Bill” Seidler Jr., 93, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Lake Terrace North in Greendale, WI. He was born December 2, 1919 in St. Paul, MN to William and Grace (nee: Metzler) Seidler. He spent his entire life in the Milwaukee where he graduated from North Division High School. On February 6, 1947 he was united in marriage to Virginia E. Rantzow. She preceded him in death May 9, 2006. He has lived in the Burlington area for the last 25 years. He served in the Army, in Germany, during WWII under General Patton. He retired from the Milwaukee Police Force after serving as a Police Officer. Following retirement he worked as a Security Guard at Mayfair Mall. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. William enjoyed collecting belt buckles; walking and driving around looking at the countryside; reading (especially westerns) and word search games. He is survived by his children: David (Laura) Seidler and Marilyn Gellings; grandchildren: Keith Gellings, Glenn (Jessica Ottow) Gellings, Melissa Gellings, Mark Seidler, William Seidler, Edward Dziekan, Ann Primley, Andrew Seidler and 13 great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and two sisters. Funeral Services for William will be held Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Kirk Lahmann officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Milwaukee. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory 625 S.
