RACINE – Cecil Reed Duckworth, Jr., passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness. He was born in Racine on June 14, 1935, son of the late Cecil R. and Jeannette (nee: Booth) Duckworth, Sr. Cecil was united in marriage to the love of his life, the former MaryLana Antoweski, on June 28, 1958, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Port Austin, MI. Cecil proudly and faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. He was employed by Howard Industries until its closure. Cecil then worked for Twin Disc and retired after 25 years of service. Cecil leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, MaryLana; daughter, Debra A. (Robert) Wentzel; son, Steven R. (Kelly) Duckworth; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Shirley) Duckworth; brother-in-law, Henry Antoszewski; many nieces, nephews, and close friends. In addition to his parents, Cecil is preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Thorsen and Shirley Coronado. The family will hold private funeral services with full military honors. Interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to Hospice Alliance.
